In order to minimize the spread of Covid-19, we have planned, prepared and incorporated prevention measures for the mitigation and response to risk situations against COVID-19.
- Physical distancing of at least one meter.
- Avoid tasks that require group actions as much as possible.
- In common areas, social distancing must be preserved.
- The use of a mask is mandatory.
- Hand washing and personal hygiene is the main measure of prevention and control of Covid-19.
- To guarantee the prevention of the spread of COvid-19 by contact, disinfection of handles, handrails, locks and other elements that are of easy and constant contact will be carried out.
- Glycerinated alcohol supplies will be available at least 60% maximum 95% in the following places: Entrance of guests and employees, bathrooms, dining room, food and beverage area, reception, hallway of rooms, entrance of common rooms, parking lots.
- It is mandatory to cough and sneeze to cover the mouth and nose with disposable tissues.
- Litter bins with a non-manual opening system will be provided to avoid contact with surfaces.
Protocol against employee symptom reporting:
The health of the workers is essential to avoid the spread of the virus in all areas of the hotel. Workers must refrain from going to the workplace in cases of flu symptoms, cough and / or shortness of breath or a fever higher than 38 ° C and must inform their immediate boss. Both the employer and the worker must report the case to the EPS and the corresponding Ministry of Health so that they can evaluate their condition. If any worker presents symptoms of respiratory disease during their workday, they must follow the following protocol:
- Inform the immediate supervisor.
- Suspend activities.
- Inform if you have traveled to areas considered a source of infection or if you have had contact with someone confirmed Covid-19 within 2 meters for more than 15 minutes.
- Report the case to the EPS and the person in charge of safety and health at work so that they can make the respective report to the ARL.
- Make a list of the people with whom you have been in contact within 2 meters for more than 15 minutes.
- In case of being positive for Covid-19, inform all these people so that they can carry out the corresponding procedure in the EPS.
- Perform daily monitoring of the state of health and symptoms that present.
Protocol against the report of symptoms of the guests:
If a host reports symptoms such as flu, cough and / or difficulty breathing or a fever of over 38 ° C, the worker who shows symptoms or receives the report from the host must follow the following protocol:
- Inform manager in charge.
- Try to separate the guest from the others as much as possible.
- Ask the guest to contact their doctor or EPS to receive instructions on how to proceed.
- Do not transport the guest anywhere without medical advice.
- If an infected guest checks out, follow the steps in the room disinfection procedure.
- If the confirmed Covid-19 guest leaves the hotel, but other guests remain in the same room, ask them to contact their doctor immediately. No employee can enter the room until disinfection has been performed by trained personnel.
- If the hotel does have a confirmed case of COVID-19, the hotel should consider informing other guests without giving the information of the infected guest or their room number.
Isolation procedures at the hotel:
- The guest should stay in a well-ventilated room, with the door closed and a window that can be opened to an area with good ventilation.
- Visitors should not be allowed into the room in which the person is in isolation.
- Contact with other guests should be avoided.
- Management or any member of the Management Committee must be notified immediately if the guest in isolation leaves the hotel.
- Items such as food or medicine requested by the guest should be left outside the room, indicating to the guest in isolation that they should put on the surgical mask to pick up their order.
- Individuals providing care to the isolate should wear a surgical mask and disposable gloves (once used, they should be discarded and hands washed).
